This is a place for me to ramble on about my Smash book without boring my followers on my other blog, imagination island.tumblr.com too much. I hope you like it and find it useful. If you are doing your own smash book and would like to share, feel free to submit your own pictures. If you have any questions you know where to go! :)
Hi, thanks for your message!
You can buy Smashbook supplies from Hobbycraft (online or instore, you can get some money off online by joining the Hobbycraft club)
Alternatively, you can buy Smashbooks from Craftobsessions.co.uk, who offer free shipping when you spend over £20. They sometimes have money off codes or special offers if you sign up to their newsletter.
There wasn’t a massive range at my local Hobbycraft so I would recommend looking online. You can look on Youtube for ‘flick-through’ guides to the different books if you want to see each page!
Just let me know if you have any more questions :)
I’ve reached 600 followers! Thanks to everyone who’s followed me - I didn’t think 600 people would be that interested in my smash book but apparently not 😊
The difference is the paper inside, and the colour strip on the outside. The ‘pretty’ one florals, pinks, pastels etc and the doodle had more sketchy styles. If you search for the name of the smash book on youtube people have done flick through videos so you can see each page :)
The next page
Just found this on my other blog from ages ago, I must’ve posted it there by accident.
Smash books are a type of scrapbook that you can buy. They have printed pages and the idea is that you stick things in without having to think or worry about excessive decoration. It means you have a place to store all the little bits of paper that you’ve kept because they mean something to you. Thanks for the question!
